Bertha Sithole

Bertha is a social entrepreneur passionate about entrepreneurship education in Africa. She is the founder of Begin Your Dreams, an organization dedicated to equipping unemployed youth with skills to start businesses, empowerment and coaching. She recently launched The African Entrepreneurship & Leadership Academy (AELA), which provides industry-specific courses aimed at creating industries like gaming, events and handcrafts. A MWF Fellow [2019, University of Notre Dame], Bertha has received multiple accolades, including the Southern African Change Catalyst Award (2024) and Eswatini Writer’s Awards (2023). She is an author of a book; Begin your Dreams. Bertha holds a degree in Business and Public Relations. She has played a key role in alumni engagement as Vice Chairperson and Executive Member of the US Programs Alumni Association of Eswatini, strengthening networks and collaborations. With extensive experience in partnerships, program facilitation, and alumni relations, Bertha brings deep insight into leveraging networks for impactful collaboration.
