Dr. Webby Phiri

Dr. Webby Phiri is Deputy Chief of Party at PATH for the U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI) funded project, PAMO Plus. He has previously worked for the Zambian Ministry of Health in various roles, including Junior Resident at the University Teaching Hospital, Senior Resident at Chikankata Mission Hospital, Medical Officer in Charge at Kafue Gorge Hospital, and District Health Director for Chikankata. With over ten years of experience in clinical and programming management focused on malaria and other infectious diseases, Webby is well-versed in this field. He is an alumnus of the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office Chevening Scholarship, having earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Paediatrics and Child Health from University College London (UCL). Additionally, he holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Lusaka. Webby’s professional interests encompass public health, economics, healthcare finance and policy, and international development
