Nicolau Miguel

Nicolau Londe Gomes Miguel serves as the President of the U.S.-Angola Alumni Association (US3A) on a volunteer basis, where he leads and oversees the association’s operations, including strategic planning, mission implementation, and governance support.
An alumnus of the 2019 YALI Mandela Washington Fellowship Program, Nicolau studied Public Management at Virginia Tech’s School of Public and International Affairs in the USA. He was named a 2021 Peace Ambassador by the European Commission and One Young World, and he is also an alumnus of the African Union Youth Volunteer Corps, the African Presidential Leadership Program, and the YALI Regional Leadership Center Southern Africa.
Nicolau holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and recently completed a Master’s in Conflict, Peace, and Security, jointly delivered by UNITAR and the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Fluent in English, French, and Portuguese, he draws inspiration from leaders like Dr. Myles Munroe to drive the vision of US3A. In addition to his volunteer work, Nicolau works full-time as a program officer at the Financial Services Volunteer Corps (FSVC).
