Nonzwakazi Zuma is an electrical engineering technician with over five years as a planning technician at Msunduzi Municipality involved in electrical network planning, design, and maintenance, while contributing to policy development on the Embedded Generation Committee. She holds various qualifications and training in electrical engineering, energy efficiency and sustainability, energy modeling, control, and optimization and is pursuing an advanced diploma in electrical engineering. Nonzwakazi founded Ithubelethu, a civil society organization supporting SMEs with compliance and accreditation, which later inspired Powerkazi, a renewable energy company to fulfill her passion for energy and sustainability. Nonzwakali is committed to empowering emerging leaders through self-care and self-esteem workshops.
