Sicelo Dube known as The STEMLady is one of Africa's award winning inspirational Scientist and Entrepreneur. Recently named UNESCO's Girl Empowerment Champion under the L'Oreal Foundation Young Talents 2023, Sicelo has also been recognized by the US Embassy in Zimbabwe as an outstanding Mandela Washington Fellow alumnus, leading STEM education outreach. She also serves as a member of the STEM Education Knowledge Network under the United Nations Office of the special adviser to Africa, further solidifying her role as a key figure in the global STEM community. Additionally, she has been acknowledged by the Zimbabwean Government as a leading example of public-private partnership advancing STEM education, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Under her STEMLady brand, she has received numerous accolades for advocating for girls and women in STEM, contributing significantly to gender parity in the STEM workforce. Having started her first enterprise at the age of 23 Sicelo is now the Founding Director of STEMLady Holdings, a group of innovative science and technology startups dedicated to bringing science to the community and empowering young entrepreneurs.
