Eng. Sitembile Ncube Kaseka is a dedicated STEM advocate, Mining Engineer, and Lecturer at Copperbelt University, committed to bridging the gap between academia and industry for young women in engineering. As co-founder of LauncHER Engineers Hub, she has spearheaded initiatives in robotics, coding, mentorship, and STEM outreach, impacting over 3,000 engineering students and growing a network of 800+ young engineers. A 2024 Mandela Washington Fellow, she also serves as Collegiate Lead on the SWE Africa Advisory Board, expanding opportunities for women in STEM. Her work has earned global recognition, including the 2024 International Award for Young Scientists and Engineering Researchers and special recognition from the VC Copperbelt University for her contributions to Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining research. She holds a Master degree from the University of Stathclyde in Scotland where she was a commonwealth scholar. Through education, advocacy, and mentorship, Eng. Sitembile is shaping the future of women in engineering across Africa.
