This session will be a multi- faceted discussion about the role technology can play in catalyzing entrepreneurship and accelerat- ing business growth. Leading alumni in tech will discuss and explore how technologies are disrupt- ing business models and transforming how new businesses emerge, scale, and are able to become global enterprises.

Panelists will shine a spotlight on effective national and regional alumni partnerships and best practices for working together for impactful interventions.

Alumni will have a conversation on research approaches to identify community developmental gaps and formulate citizen-informed policy and program interventions for sustainable development.

While the creative indus- tries are attractive to many young people, few understand the business behind these industries and how to tap the creative economy to make meaningful returns.
